Answers to what Decatur customers ask before booking attic mold removal.
Most attic mold in Decatur properties traces back to poor ventilation or an interior exhaust fan venting into the attic, not a roof leak.
Only insulation that's been contaminated and can't be cleaned gets removed and replaced — we're not looking to upsell a full attic redo.
When roof access is workable, much of the job can happen without disturbing your living space.
Jobs requiring insulation replacement can run a day or two longer.
Sealing those gaps is sometimes part of the fix alongside the mold treatment itself.
